WE DON’T JUST MARCH IN MARCH. You can’t stop us.
The Foundation’s March 8th campaign: a new initiative in collaboration with Urban Vision, “If I don’t want to, you can’t” in China, a partnership with Rinascente, and a talk at Futurae Heroes.
Marching on March 8th is not enough.
Because the fight for gender equity is not a one-day event — it’s an urgent, daily battle. It’s not just about honoring the rights we’ve won, but about calling out the ones still denied.
That’s the message at the heart of the new campaign by Una Nessuna Centomila Foundation, launched for International Women’s Day. Created by the Hobo agency and featured across the Urban Vision network, the campaign comes to life thanks to a valuable collaboration with the media company.
According to the Global Gender Gap Report 2024, at the current pace it will take around 134 more years to achieve gender parity worldwide. In too many parts of the world, being a woman still means fighting for education, safety, and the right to choose.
This campaign delivers a clear, universal message:
Change doesn’t happen in a single day — it’s built in the consistency of every step, every protest, and every raised voice.
True commitment is showing up on March 9th — and every day after — until marching is no longer needed. Every day is a chance to stand up for equity.
In this spirit, the campaign is supported by a series of events and initiatives led and energized, as always, by the Foundation.
First and foremost, the proud announcement that the record-breaking Italian film and symbol of the Foundation, “There’s Still Tomorrow”, written and directed by Paola Cortellesi, will be screened — eagerly awaited — in China for International Women’s Day.
The screening will be accompanied by the Foundation’s video message “If I don’t want to, you can’t”, subtitled in Chinese. Originally created for November 25th – International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, the spot featured dozens of prominent Italian artists and quickly went viral. In Milan and Rome, a new partnership with Rinascente will make its debut. On March 8th, Rinascente will support the Foundation’s projects by donating 10% of the net revenue from the dinner served in all Food Halls across its store collection. The brand will also amplify the campaign and related initiatives across all of its communication channels.
Finally, in Brescia, Una Nessuna Centomila Foundation joins Music Innovation Hub at Futura Expo, participating in the Futurae Heroes programming — a space dedicated to engaging and empowering young people in sustainable development.
The Foundation will host a panel discussion titled:
“Building a Unified Front to Prevent and Combat Violence Against Women,” featuring:
A series of actions that are both symbolic and tangible, because — as the campaign subtitles powerfully state:
“We have a long way to go — and no intention of stopping.”
“Rights, progress, and new milestones: the road is long, but we walk it with confidence.”
