Objectives of the School

  • Systematize and enhance the specialized skills of workers at Anti-Violence Centers
  • Outline a professional profile that can be valued and recognized
  • Define technical tools for job orientation that offer standards and operational protocols
  • Improve the ability to communicate the methodology and working tools of the workers by increasing their scientific knowledge
  • Draft an Ethical Code for working in Anti-Violence Centers (ethics of motivation in the work at Centers) and ethics in the helping relationship

Organization

Participation in the School is free of charge for workers already active in Anti-Violence Centers.

The School, in its initial form, will be held at the Casa Internazionale delle Donne in Rome, located at Via della Lungara, 19.

There will be 8 modules offered in a blended format, with activities both online and in-person, depending on organizational needs related to travel and venue availability. However, workshops will be held exclusively in person.

To obtain the qualification certificate at the end of the School, it is necessary to attend at least 80% of the classes in person and participate in all the workshops.
