Fiorella Mannoia made her musical debut at theFestival di Castrocaro<\/em>\u00a0in 1968. Her first album,\u00a0Mannoia Foresi & Co<\/em>, was released in 1972.<\/p>\n

Her first encounter with a broad audience came at the\u00a0Sanremo Music Festival<\/em>\u00a0in 1981, where she performed\u00a0Caff\u00e8 Nero Bollente<\/em>. But the real turning point in her career arrived with her 1984 Sanremo appearance and her performance of\u00a0Come Si Cambia<\/em>.<\/p>\n

At Sanremo 1987, she presented\u00a0Quello Che Le Donne Non Dicono<\/em>, a song that won the Critics\u2019 Award and became arguably the most iconic and beloved piece of her career. She returned to Sanremo in 1988 with\u00a0Le Notti Di Maggio<\/em>, once again earning the Critics\u2019 Award.<\/p>\n

Over the course of her long career, Fiorella has interpreted songs by Italy\u2019s greatest singer-songwriters and collaborated on albums, concerts, and tours with many of the most celebrated artists\u2014ranging from Ivano Fossati to Enrico Ruggeri, from Ron to Riccardo Cocciante, from Francesco De Gregori to Massimo Bubola (author of another much-loved Mannoia hit,\u00a0Il cielo d\u2019Irlanda<\/em>), and also Samuele Bersani, Daniele Silvestri, Niccol\u00f2 Fabi, Avion Travel, Gian Maria Testa, Franco Battiato, Luciano Ligabue, Tiziano Ferro, Jovanotti, Pino Daniele, Giuliano Sangiorgi, Fabrizio Moro, and Ultimo\u2014just to name a few.<\/p>\n

Her rendition of\u00a0Sally<\/em>\u00a0by Vasco Rossi, featured on her 1999 album\u00a0Certe Piccole Voci<\/em>, was a massive success.<\/p>\n

She also collaborated with major Brazilian singer-songwriters such as Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, and Gilberto Gil.<\/p>\n

In 2012, with the concept album\u00a0Sud<\/em>, Fiorella\u2014long known for interpreting works by prominent Italian and international artists\u2014began writing her own songs, becoming the author of many of her later pieces.<\/p>\n

In 2013, she launched the musical project\u00a0A Te<\/em>, a tribute album to Lucio Dalla, which went platinum and became a highly acclaimed tour.<\/p>\n

In 2016, together with Bungaro and Cesare Chiodo, she wrote\u00a0Perfetti Sconosciuti<\/em>, the soundtrack for Paolo Genovese\u2019s film of the same name. The song won the 2016\u00a0Nastro d\u2019Argento<\/em>\u00a0award for Best Original Song.<\/p>\n

She returned to the Sanremo stage in 2017 for the fifth time, performing\u00a0Che Sia Benedetta<\/em>, which achieved Platinum certification thanks to its outstanding success.<\/p>\n

Combattente<\/em>,\u00a0Il peso del coraggio<\/em>,\u00a0Padroni di niente<\/em>\u00a0are some of her most recent and well-loved songs, all characterized by the powerful messages they convey.<\/p>\n
